The Firefighter Training Initiative is composed of career/retired firefighters running an organization to support their brothers and sisters in the fire service through financial support for their education
Some of the classes that firefighters look to take are not always covered by tuition reimbursement or there may be incidental costs that make taking certain, important classes, cost prohibitive. Incidental costs include books, hotel stays, travel costs, gear rentals, and more! Many firefighters are responsible for these costs out of pocket and FFTI aims to eliminate these financial roadblocks to firefighter development.
How does FFTI raise funding?
Through fundraisers and sponsorship from businesses and individuals!
Where does the money go?
The money raised by FFTI goes directly to facilitate hands on training.
What is paid for by FFTI?
Our organization aims to reduce or remove the financial burden from firefighters attending training. This includes paying for tuition, hotel stays, gear rentals, and travel expenses as needed.
IF you or your business are interested in becoming a ffti Sponsor please send us an email or click on contact us. We look forward to partnering with you on helping local firefighters get the training and education they are looking for to be better prepared for that next call. .
